Russian Soldier WWII – POSE SET
Represent a Soviet Red Army serviceman of the Second World War with this detailed pose set from Blueprint to Print 3D. Designed for historical scenes and scale collections, the figure captures the practical character of Soviet infantry serving on the Eastern Front. The POSE SET badge recognises this runner-supported product, selected for inclusion in the final audited batch.
Historical Role
Red Army soldiers fought across the vast Eastern Front between 1941 and 1945, serving in infantry formations that defended Soviet territory before advancing westward. Their duties included assaults, patrols, defensive operations and support for armoured and artillery formations. Individual soldiers operated in demanding conditions ranging from urban ruins and open steppe to forests and severe winter landscapes.
Distinctive Appearance
The model presents the recognisable silhouette of a wartime Soviet serviceman, with functional field clothing and personal equipment arranged around a clearly defined human pose. Its practical military appearance makes it suitable for a broad range of early-, mid- or late-war settings, subject to the painting scheme and surrounding scene chosen by the modeller.
Modelling Uses
This figure can add scale, movement and human interest to Eastern Front dioramas, model railways and military vehicle scenes. It is also well suited to wargaming displays, historical layouts and collectors building a representative range of World War II personnel. Use it alongside Soviet armour, trucks, artillery, defensive positions or ruined urban scenery to create a convincing operational setting.
Fun Fact
In Soviet historical terminology, the conflict against Germany and its allies from 1941 to 1945 became known as the Great Patriotic War, reflecting the immense national mobilisation and sacrifice involved.
