The legendary WWII US Jeep was the little vehicle that seemed to turn up everywhere. Fast, simple, dependable and able to squeeze through roads and tracks that larger vehicles could not, the Jeep became an essential part of American military life.

The Story Behind the Vehicle
Produced mainly as the Willys MB and Ford GPW, the Jeep became one of the most widely recognised Allied vehicles of WWII.
It could carry soldiers, ammunition, radios, medical supplies, officers and almost anything else that could be strapped onto it. Jeeps served in every major theatre of the war and were frequently loaded well beyond what their compact size might suggest.
